Bunny Gold
It's that time again! I am taking names and numbers for our annual sale of our Bunny Gold! This is the best fertilizer you can use for your gardens, flowers and compost bins! Bunny Gold is approximately 2% Nitrogen, 1% Phosphorus, and 1% Potassium.
So why Rabbit Manure?
*Rabbit manure is considered a "cold manure" and unlike other manure, it can go directly into use without burning your plants!
*Rabbit manure is an organic matter; when worked into the soil, it will improve poor soil structure, drainage and as well as moisture retention!
*It doesn't have the same aroma as other fresh manures which if you live in town will make your neighbors happier.
* It contains beneficial trace elements such as Calcium, Magnesium, Boron, Zinc, Sulfur, and many others that all plants need.
*The extra Nitrogen in rabbit manure makes it a great kickstart to get a new compost pile going.
*It makes a great tea to use to water plants with as well. Dump some manure in the bottom of a pail, add water and let it steep for a couple days. Pour the water off and use that to water your plants. You'll notice a significant difference in your plants!
Here is how it stacks up in comparison to manure from other livestock:
Rabbit 🐇 = N- 2.4 P- 1.4 K- .80
Chicken 🐔 =N- 1.1 P-.80 K- .50
Sheep 🐑 =N- .70 P- .30 K-.60
Horse 🐎 =N- .70 P-.30 K- .60
Cattle 🐄 =N- .70 P-.30 K-.40
How to order: to place an order, you can send a text (best method) or via email. For the best results, send a text.
How is it packaged?
I use old feed bags that are filled to the brim. This often leaves bags weighing a minimum of 50lbs each or more. Inside of the feed bags, there will be individual garbage bags that has a lighter load per bag for easy to dump situations. If you do not want the garbage bags included, I can remove them for an additional cost per bag.
Bunny Gold is available for pick up only. We are approximately 5 minutes from the South Corning Byrne Dairy. You will need a 4wd or AWD vehicle to make it up the driveway. By appointment only. You will also be responsible to load yourself. All available stock is based on a first come, first served basis. I will not hold but the good news is I will always have a couple bags available each week. Right now I have been stock piling and have about 40 bags ready to go.
Every 10 bags purchased receives two bags free. $5 a bag. ($50 for 12 bags).
What can be expected to find in each bag?
Fur, feces, urine, hay, sometimes food, shavings, maggots/flies and garbage bags. I line all of my pans with garbage bags. I can remove the bags at an additional cost.
Please contact me for more information or if you are interested in ordering Bunny Gold.
Serious inquirers only.
